We are seeking a highly experienced and business-savvy Dental Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy, multi-provider dental practice. This leadership role is critical to ensuring clinical efficiency, exceptional patient service, and overall business performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in dental office management, financial oversight, and team leadership—along with a proactive mindset and hands-on approach.

You will work closely with dentists, hygienists, front desk, and clinical staff to maintain high operational standards, patient satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Practice Operations & Workflow Oversight:
  • Oversee daily operations of a large dental office, ensuring smooth patient flow and staff coordination
  • Monitor appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and adherence to treatment plans
  • Implement and refine systems to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Team Leadership & Staff Management:
  • Lead, train, and mentor front desk, billing, and clinical support staff
  • Develop staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and promote a positive team culture
  • Resolve conflicts and address performance issues with professionalism and accountability

Financial & Business Management:

  • Oversee billing, insurance verification, collections, and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, monitor KPIs, and recommend strategies for revenue growth
  • Manage office budgets, supply inventory, and vendor relationships
  • Patient Relations & Compliance:
  • Ensure an outstanding patient experience from the first interaction to follow-up care
  • Maintain compliance
  • Handle escalated patient concerns or complaints with discretion and diplomacy

Technology & Systems:

  • Manage the use PMS
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital workflows and office efficiency through technology

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of dental office management experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-provider setting
  • Strong understanding of treatment coordination, billing practices, and claims processing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in dental practice management software
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Solid grasp of business operations, including budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning
  • Professional, composed, and service-driven with outstanding interpersonal communication
