What is the opportunity?

Are you service and detail-oriented, logical and organized? Do you like to edit? We have a challenging role for a tech-savvy, enthusiastic quick learner who would like to be a domain expert within our proposal writing team. We are implementing the RocketDocs content management software (RD) and we need a specialist to train on the system and then help us implement and leverage it within our department. This role will evolve over time to include additional, related responsibilities for content dissemination.

PH&N Institutional is the institutional investment management business of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) in Canada. This position is based in Vancouver, and any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the successful candidate.

What will you do?

  • Become the go-to expert in using RocketDocs (proposal content management database and system) and be the lead "power user" within the PH&N Institutional asset management business in Canada, providing guidance and training to colleagues, as needed.

  • Extend the use of RocketDocs to further contribute to business development and retention efforts.

  • Contribute over time in other ways to the business development and retention activities, with a focus on helping address inquiries from clients, prospects and their consultants.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • Excellent English language skills (verbal & written) and strong attention to detail.

  • Capacity to grasp new concepts/information/technology applications quickly, and maintain a positive "can-do" attitude.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills in order to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills: Establishes and maintains good relationships; communicates constructively; and engages others positively.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of tasks; and also to collaborate effectively with team members on shared projects/team activities.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience working with RocketDocs or other content management database/software/system.

  • French or Indigenous language skills.

  • Experience in proposal or grant writing in business.

  • Experience working in the investment industry.

The expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 to $80,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
