Your Opportunity

The successful candidate will have a passion for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Administrative professional with a passion for customer service and attention to detail.

As a contract Administrative Assistant you will work with both the travel coordinator, administrative and equipment teams to help staff with booking travel, assisting with timecards, assistance with expenses, shipping of equipment, and aiding the Senior Office Coordinator in the daily operations of a large consulting office. This will be a 6-month contract position at approximately 20 hours per week with adjustments according to the week's activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving equipment for a variety of field projects

  • Assist staff in procuring equipment and supplies

  • Assist with travel logistics for field crews – hotels, flights, rental vehicles

  • Administrative duties as required

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Willing, adaptable, and flexible approach with a can-do attitude

  • Solid written and verbal skills

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail

  • Experienced within a fast-paced, high demand environment

  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team

  • Demonstrate organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Interest in Health and Safety

  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner

  • Flexible work hours on occasion

Education and Experience

Minimum of 3 years experience in a customer service capacity

Minimum of 6 months in an administrative role
