Job Summary
The Administrative Supervisor's primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations, administrative functions and performance of the Administrative team.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee Accounts Payable Process
Develop, analyze, review and implement administrative department systems and controls
Manage schedules and deadlines
Support monthly and year end accounting
Approval and Reconciliation of GL assignments and projects
PO Process Management
Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial documents
Responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions may include budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis
Evaluate historical and current financial data
Manage budget and financial planning processes to maximize an organizations revenue
Managing overall administrative activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Post-secondary education in a related discipline
2 years' experience in a similar role • In-depth understanding of office management procedures and departmental processes
Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, MS Project), and construction managements/estimating software
Required Qualifications and Abilities
Strong accounting, financial reporting and financial statement prep skills
Knowledge of financial controls and processes
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task administrative tasks, effectively prioritize workflow with strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience in construction of multifamily, commercial and mixed use an asset
