Position Title: Senior Compensation Specialist

Position Summary:
As part of a collaborative and tight-knit compensation team, you will have opportunities to contribute, influence, and leave your mark on compensation programs and process development that will extend across our fast-growing enterprise.
With the leadership of a Compensation Manager, you will support Parkland’s compensation philosophy and strategy to help motivate more than 6,000 employees across 25 countries. We are a compensation team that works in lockstep to achieve great things and are looking for that piece of the puzzle that will help us on our journey to create the most effective compensation function in town.
The Compensation team is one of five areas within our Total Rewards centers of excellence (Compensation, Benefits and Disability Management, HR Information Systems, Payroll, and Learning Management System). We are proud to be a diverse team with different experiences, skills, perspectives, and insights that spark new, innovative ideas.
Working in our head office in Calgary and interacting with leaders and colleagues at all levels of seniority in Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean, the successful candidate will be an analytically astute and seasoned business partner who is experienced in supporting the needs of the clients. Creative, organized, and a natural collaborator and relationship builder, you are able to build and leverage strong internal and external networks to get the job done with a demonstrable track record of project planning, change management, and execution.
