Job summary

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $47,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, & discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. This motivated and results oriented individual will be working in a very busy Accounts Payable department; liaise with operations and external suppliers on a daily basis and deliver results according to deadlines. Now, If You Were To Come On Board As Our Accounts Payable Follow Up Clerk, We’d Ask You To Do The Following For Us Responsible for supplier account reconciliations for assigned suppliers Initiate investigation for any discrepancies in supplier statements by following up with letters to operations Communication with internal and external parties Must be willing to work overtime as required to meet deadlines Perform other duties and projects as required Role Think you have what it takes to be our Accounts Payable Follow Up Clerk? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role: A college diploma in Accounting or equivalent with a solid understanding of accounting principles Minimum of two years experience in a computerized Accounting environment (JD Edwards experience preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated, well-organized, team player capable of participating in a very busy accounting department Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills capable of professional interaction with various levels of operations and other department managers Able to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes Able to balance team and individual responsibilities Experience in customer service is considered an asset. Requirements

Candidates need a college diploma in Accounting or equivalent and at least two years of experience in a computerized accounting environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with JD Edwards is preferred.
