Role Description The Receptionist is a full-time, on-site position based in Oakville, ON. This role is responsible for greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls, and serving as the first point of contact for clients and vendors. Day-to-day tasks include managing the front desk, handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, and maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area. The Receptionist will support basic clerical activities such as filing, data entry, preparing documents, and scheduling appointments or meetings. The role also involves providing professional and courteous customer service, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that inquiries are handled promptly and accurately. Qualifications Strong Phone Etiquette and Communication skills, including clear, professional verbal and written interactions. Experience with Receptionist Duties, such as greeting visitors, managing a multi-line phone system, and directing inquiries. Solid Clerical Skills, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and basic office software proficiency (e.g., MS Office). Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive, helpful attitude. Previous experience in a front desk, administrative, or office support role is an asset. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a busy office environment. Professional appearance and demeanor, with reliable attendance and punctuality. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or related fields is beneficial.
