Administrative Assistant, Waterloo - 12 Months Contract CBI Home Health is hiring a Full-Time Administrative Assistant for a 12‑month contract based out of our Waterloo Home Health office. This role represents the organization as the primary point of contact and supports our accredited, innovative community health care services across Waterloo and the surrounding area. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $37,000 per year. Our Total Rewards offerings include: * Comprehensive benefits and rewards package, including group health, dental and vision benefits * Employee and Family Assistance Program * Paid orientation, training and development with opportunities to grow your career * Collaborative, purpose-driven culture What you will do: * As an Administrative Assistant within CBI Home Health, you will help be the face and voice of this accredited, innovative community health care organization providing high-quality services throughout the Hamilton and surrounding area. * Utilize scheduling and human resource management systems * Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms * Pull information used for appointments, file charts, reports and other correspondence Enter and track staff data and staffing information changes * Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients/ vendors/ third party * Ordering and tracking various office supplies, including personal protective equipment (PPE) * Serve as backup receptionist for lunchtime and time off * Perform general office duties and provide administrative support to leadership team * Assist team with program requirements and other duties as assigned What you will need to be successful: * A post-secondary education in medical office / business administration * 1 to 3 years' experience in a customer service role * Previous experience in medical office/business administration * Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment A professional customer service attitude * A creative approach with a can-do attitude * Effective problem-solving skills * Previous experience in medical office/business administration * Well-developed skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a publishing program (e.g., Microsoft Publisher) Medical Terminology is an asset Recruitment Technology Disclosure: We use technology and automation to support administrative aspects of our recruitment process.
