The Carefirst Family Health Team (FHT) is seeking full-time permanent Executive Assistant to join our innovative, interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, community-based care. About Us Carefirst FHT is committed to delivering exceptional, comprehensive primary care through a collaborative, team-based model that includes family physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, service navigators, dieticians, physiotherapists, and medical receptionists. We have a robust Chronic Disease Management and Prevention program, including a Diabetes Education Program, and are actively involved in many of the Ontario Health Team’s primary care initiatives. Our “Hub & Spoke Model” and strong community partnerships ensure coordinated, high-quality, patient‑centred care across the continuum. We work closely with Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association to provide truly integrated services. On‑site & Integrated Programs/Services include: * Ontario Health atHome (formerly Home and Community Care Support Services) * MINT Memory Clinic * Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program * Specialist Clinics: psychiatry, cardiology, endocrinology, optometry, geriatric medicine, gynecology, chiropody, rheumatology, physiotherapy, and audiology Clinic Locations We currently operate five well-established clinics across Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Stouffville and continue to expand in Markham to support continued growth and community needs. Current clinic locations: * 300 Silver Star Blvd, Scarborough (Midland / McNicoll) * 420 Hwy 7 East, Richmond Hill (West Beaver Creek / Hwy 7) * 360 Highway 7 East, Richmond Hill (Highway 7 / Chalmers Rd) * 105 Gibson Centre, Markham (Steeles Ave East/Warden Ave) * 37 Sandiford Drive, Stouffville (Stouffville Main St/Sandiford Dr) Upcoming new clinic locations: * Unionville Commons Seniors Hub, Markham (Unionville Main Street/Highway 7 East) Employees will be assigned to a location that aligns with the operation needs, with occasional rotation to support clinic operations. We are currently seeking a Executive Assistant to fill a new position at our Family Health Team. Terms: Full Time Permanent Pay range: $48,000 - $60,000 annually Responsibilities: * Prepare executive documents, Ministry reports and funding proposals in support of Senior Management * Establish and maintain rapport with Board of Directors, its Committee and other organizations * Assist in quality assurance activities, such as Accreditation and Quality Improvement Plan * Assist in developing the FHT's programs and services in accordance with the directions, strategies, policies and principles established by the Board of Directors and its Committee * Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders * Create and develop administrative documents as required Requirements: * Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field * Superior writing and communication skills * Ability to maintain sensitive information and exhibit tact, diplomacy, and good judgment, with high standards of ethics and confidentiality * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment * Organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks * Fluent in English and a second language that reflects the community served, such as Cantonese, Mandarin, is an asset * A valid vulnerable sector police record check completed within one year Benefits: * Dental Care * Extended Health Care * HOOPP * Comprehensive Orientation Program * Training and Education Subsidy Application Deadline: August 31, 2026 Interested applicants may apply through Carefirst’s careers page, Indeed, or by emailing [email protected] [[email protected]] Carefirst is an equal opportunity employer.
