As we continue to grow, we are seeking an intermediate Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support lawyers by managing court filings, drafting legal documents, and organizing strata-specific files. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to grow their litigation career in a specialized, fast-paced field. This is a permanent full-time (35 hours per week), in-office position at our Vancouver office, with the possibility of flexible work arrangements in the future. Key Responsibilities File opening and closing Conduct conflict checks and online searches Draft and organize basic pleadings, application materials, affidavits, and binders File legal documents via Court Services Online (CSO) and the CRT portal Producing legal demand letters and payout letters Format legal correspondence, opinions, and demand letters accurately. Manage a BF system to track critical limitation dates, court appearances, and BC Land Title filings. Maintain and organize physical and electronic files Calendar management Other duties as directed Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program At least 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced law firm Prior exposure to strata law, debt collection, or litigation an asset Working knowledge of BC Court Services Online (CSO) and LTSA Familiarity with the BC Strata Property Act, BC Supreme Court rules, and CRT rules Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
