Our client, a well-established and highly respected Vancouver law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join its busy Labour & Employment practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys supporting a fast-paced litigation practice while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment. The successful candidate will bring previous Labour & Employment experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing high-quality administrative and legal support. Key Responsibilities Prepare, draft, transcribe, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal materials. Coordinate court appearances, hearings, mediations, examinations for discovery, client meetings, and other appointments. Manage electronic and physical client files, including opening, organizing, maintaining, and closing files. Maintain bring-forward and reminder systems to ensure deadlines and key dates are met. Organize litigation documents, binders, and file materials. Liaise with the firm's billing team regarding monthly account production. Provide general administrative support to lawyers and the practice group. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years of Labour & Employment Legal Administrative Assistant experience. Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal documentation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Experience with Elite 3E is considered an asset. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
