medical office assistant

We are looking for a new member to join our team! We are a busy 11-physician office located near the Broadmead area. You'll work alongside an RN, Office Manager, and wonderful MOAs. *Responsibilities:* * Greet and assist patients in person and by phone with professionalism and empathy * Manage appointments, faxes, mail, and electronic communication * Schedule and triage patient appointments appropriately * Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area * Support in-person patient care, including taking vitals (height, weight, BP) *Qualifications:* * MOA experience is an asset but not required; we'll train the right candidate * Strong communication and multitasking skills * Comfortable with computers; Telus CHR EMR experience is a plus * Detail-oriented, dependable, and respectful of patient confidentiality * Committed to trauma-informed, culturally safe care that respects the diverse social, cultural, ethnic, and gender identities of all patients * Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and job demands We offer some medical benefits and free onsite parking.
