Airswift is partnering with a major Oil and Gas client to look for a Data Entry/ Scale House Clerk to join their team on a long-term contract in Slave Lake, AB. Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off Shifts: 12-hour shifts Transportation: Bus transportation provided from the Edmonton area, anticipated departure from the St. Albert area Compensation: $25.50/hour + $40/day camp allowance Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry/ Scale House Clerk to support landfill operations at the company's site. This is primarily an administrative position responsible for managing truck traffic through the scale house, recording accurate load and weight information, monitoring vehicles through a camera system, and maintaining daily records. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, interacting with truck drivers throughout the day, and using Microsoft Excel and internal computer systems to maintain accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities Operate the scale house and process incoming and outgoing trucks. Weigh trucks and accurately record load and weight information. Verify trucking tickets and system entries to ensure information is complete and accurate for billing purposes. Use a camera monitoring system to inspect incoming and outgoing trucks, including identifying whether loads or vehicles meet site requirements. Coordinate with truck drivers entering and exiting the landfill. Perform daily data entry using Microsoft Excel and the company's internal system. Create and maintain weight and load tally summaries for trucking companies. Prepare and distribute daily load tally information as required. Answer phones and communicate professionally with drivers, contractors, and site personnel. Maintain organized and accurate records and documentation. Maintain a clean and organized scale house. Work effectively both independently and as part of the site team. Qualifications Previous experience in data entry, administration, scale house operations, dispatch, logistics, transportation, or a similar environment is an asset. Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for data entry and record tracking. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter and verify information. Comfortable learning and working within internal computer systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to interact professionally with truck drivers and site personnel. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable working 12-hour shifts on a 7-on/7-off rotation.
