The Opportunity: This position is responsible for supporting the Director of Care through general administrative and resident care initiatives to support appropriate, efficient, organized and effective delivery of care within the nursing units. The Clinical Office Assistant works as a member of the care team, collaborating on the delivery of resident care to inform and promote care improvement for the residents. They promote teamwork and a culture that demonstrates the guiding principles of AgeCare: Trust, Respect, Teamwork, and Quality and encourages practices that respect resident, family and staff rights, individuality and diversity. What You Will Do: • Provide accurate and timely word processing, data entry, correspondence and file management of confidential and sensitive information including meeting minutes, surveys, audits and WCB reports • Supports and maintains accurate electronic record information and documentation (Point Click Care) • Prepare new resident care charts and ensure monthly reports are compiled • Support the ordering, monitoring and costing of stationary, document and nursing supplies • Promote a positive work environment by being respectful, following processes, managing conflict and demonstrating flexibility and reliability What You Will Need: • Health Care Aide Certification or deemed competency is required. • 2+ years’ experience working on a unit in a medical/health care environment • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) • Ability to respond to emergency situations • Strong interpersonal skills with a mature, cooperative and caring nature • Good analytical and problem solving skills; ability to earn the trust and cooperation of others If you’re motivated by the privilege of serving our seniors with dignity, respect and compassion, come join us!

Requirements
