Position: Liquor Clerk Casual: Less than 24 hours per week Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Responsibilities: * Ensure all customers are greeted in a friendly manner * Offer product expertise and guidance * Process sales transactions accurately * Receive, unpack, and display merchandise * Perform opening and closing duties with thorough attention to detail * Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op and AGLC’s policies * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications: * Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work in the Liquor Store environment * Must have valid ProServe certification * Outstanding customer service and communication skills * Previous retail experience is an asset * Team player with the ability to work independently * Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets Total Rewards: At Central Alberta Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success. What you’ll do

The Liquor Clerk is responsible for greeting customers, providing product expertise, and processing sales transactions accurately. Additional duties include receiving and displaying merchandise, performing opening and closing tasks, and ensuring compliance with AGLC policies.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid ProServe certification. The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs consecutively and strong customer service skills, with previous retail experience considered an asset.
