Administrative Assistant

Salary: $29.55–$31.77 per hour
Typical duties and responsibilities for this position include scanning documentation, arranging document processing, typing and data entry, distributing mail, providing phone coverage, maintaining files and filing, preparing reports and providing office and clerical support to others in the department.
Your Tasks:
- Preparing documentation for processing incl. staple/paper-clip removal, QR code application, etc.
- Scanning and digitally storing documentation
- Arranging document shredding and processing with or without the assistance of contractors
- Manage the day-to-day administrative activities as required
- File naming, sorting and storing scanned documentation in MTU’s digital filing system
- Order & maintain office stationery supplies as necessary
Our Requirements:
- Must be able to perform routine to complex clerical duties accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrate proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar, with the ability to work in a methodical and organized manner.
- Successfully complete a standardized skills assessment demonstrating competencies in basic computer applications and file management.
