As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring our private wealth clients' journey starts off on the right foot. Your dedication to understanding client needs and guiding them through the onboarding process will be essential to our success.

Your responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the client service team, custodians, and clients to gather necessary information and documentation (i.e., critical data, Fiera Capital documents, CRA documents and custodians’ documents) for a seamless onboarding and account opening process
  • Become familiar with all regulatory and compliance requirements related to new client onboarding
  • Promptly respond to all inquiries received from the PWA or IC on behalf of the new client(s), coordinate various administrative tasks and ensure appropriate follow up
  • Record and maintain client contacts and other related information in the appropriate CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Participate or lead the testing and implementation of operational enhancements and special projects

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field
  • Relevant experience in a client service or portfolio administration support function
  • Previous experience within the financial services industry
  • Proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where your communication skills and organizational abilities make a significant impact
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in French. Functional English proficiency
