Job description: The incumbent is a multifunctional person who will offer an unparalleled client experience in our conference center and boardrooms.

Flexible working hours: Monday to Friday for a total of 35 hours/week – the schedule will vary between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m.

Immediate report: This position reports to the Team Lead, Conference Centre & Client Experience

Key responsibilities:

  • Set up the service in the conference rooms for various requests (e.g., meals, cocktails, and beverages)
  • Prepare the conference rooms and employee dining areas are clean and stocked
  • Serve breakfast, lunch, snacks, special coffee, cocktails, and dinner on occasion
  • Ensure that the boardrooms rooms are clean and that there are sufficient supplies (paper, pencils, etc.)
  • Serve special coffees
  • Receive catering services, do quality control, and ensure that the order is complete
  • Prepare services (dishes, glasses, utensils, beverages, water, snacks)
  • Clean dishes as needed
  • Prepare the rooms for the meals and clean up after the meals
  • Provide service in the lawyer lounge (morning and evening)
  • Manage the list of preferences / allergies / intolerances
  • All other related tasks

Education and experience requirements:

  • Minimum 1 - 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a professional environment

Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt and work in a changing and fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual written and spoken (French and English) given the firm's clientele, mandates, and international scope of the firm
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Proactive and attentive to client needs
  • Good judgment, calm and discrete
  • Interest in learning new tasks and work processes
