What is a Receptionist?

In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming the visitors. You will answer incoming calls, redirect them to the right resources and create support requests in the ticketing system. You will also fulfill various tasks directly related to the administration, such as mail and shipping, hotel and transport reservations for employees, and ad hoc support to the management team.

You need to be enthusiastic and dynamic, and like to work as a team, but also independently. Excellent customer service is mandatory!You like contact with people, you are conscientious and you are looking for a job that allows you to put forward your high level of customer service and your autonomy? The position of Receptionist is just for you!

As a Receptionist, you will have to…

  • Greet clients and guests;
  • Answer and redirect incoming calls, then create support requests in our system;
  • Receive, distribute and post mail, coordinate courier deliveries;
  • Book hotels and / or means of transport for employees;
  • Update the various databases (ConnectWise, Excel); Provide assistance in the coordination of corporate events;
  • Translate corporate memos as needed;
  • Provide ad hoc support to the management team;
  • Supervise and ensure monitoring of employee parking;
  • Support the team in the administrative management of the office.

Position Requirements

  • Experience in a coordination role;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities within an ever evolving environment;
  • Perfectly bilingual (French and English) – written and spoken;
  • Structured, organized and thorough;
  • IT knowledge required;
  • IT services project experience or office experience;
  • DEC or equivalent diploma.
