The Workforce Management Branch is looking to fill a temporary position of office worker - reference workforce (unionized).


Under the supervision of the immediate supervisor, the person performs various clerical duties related to labor management operations in the construction industry, characterized, inter alia, by a dedicated service / assistance to employers in the construction industry. opportunity to search for a particular workforce.

As such, the work is done mainly by outgoing calls to employees and employers in the construction industry.


  • Performs clerical work related to labor pool and reference management activities by contacting employees to verify their availability and "re-readability" status.
  • Receive and analyze labor requests from employers in the industry and contact them to obtain information relevant to the processing of the application. Transmits to employers the list of employees meeting the requirements and keeps track of files.
  • Check the results of the employer-led labor search by sampling by contacting the affected employees.
  • According to the requirements of the employer, records the data needed to obtain a list of employees. Communicates with employees to ensure their interest, skills / experiences and records information on file.
  • Saves and updates information and produces control reports associated with it.
  • Communicates verbally or in writing with internal and external clients. Responds to inquiries and directs them to the relevant section or mandate if required.
  • Collects, verifies, saves to the system, classifies all types of documents in a manual and computerized manner.
  •  Prepares various reports (statistics or other) on its activities.
  • Collaborates in the implementation of policies, directives and administrative methods.
  • Performs other related tasks.


  • Hold a high school diploma DES;
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
  • Master the appropriate software (ex .: Office suite);
  • Demonstrate rigor and be able to meet sometimes tight deadlines.
  • Be comfortable with telephone solicitation


  • Unionized position, hourly wage ranging between $ 21.24 and $ 25.90 according to the collective agreement.
