What we are looking for:

We are looking for a key resource to support Ms. Monique Leroux in achieving Fiera Capital's outreach objectives, both internally and externally. Ms. Leroux acts as Strategic Advisor and Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and is a Development Committee member. Therefore, she is called upon to lead several projects simultaneously while collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a variety of management, communications, public relations and administrative coordination support responsibilities. The person in this role will also be expected to make a substantial contribution to the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. This key position requires a proactive, multi-tasking individual with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative. Bound by absolute confidentiality, this trustworthy person will have to understand business needs quickly and adapt to various contexts involving diverse stakeholders. Your responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and operational support according to Ms. Leroux's priorities, which corresponds to 75% of the role;
  • Assist in managing Fiera Capital's internal and external relationships and maintain good relations with the various stakeholders while maximizing networks of contacts to promote the organization's influence;
  • Act as the person responsible for Ms. Leroux's public relations efforts to promote Fiera Capital, including social media positioning and community management;
  • Screen, write and coordinate Ms. Leroux's inbound and outbound communications and act as the primary contact;
  • Coordinate creating documents, presentations, and reports according to the business needs Ms. Leroux proposes;
  • Act as a point of contact and coordinate all activities required to meet the demands of ongoing priorities, including agenda management;
  • Coordinate strategic meetings, business meetings, write reports, and keep agendas and priorities up to date;
  • Carry out all other priority tasks within Fiera Capital related to the nature of the position (25% of the role).

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Experience in communications and/or public affairs and/or public relations with sustained potential to grow within Fiera Capital OR a minimum of 7-10 years of prior experience in a similar executive assistant position;
  • Networking skills and the ability to seize opportunities to contribute to the organization's outreach to various groups;
  • Being highly autonomous and having considerable initiative and a keen sense of versatility;
  • Excellent ability to understand issues, problem-solve and be highly adaptable;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;
  • Excellent communication skills, a high level of professional discipline, and a reputation for being extremely discreet;
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills and a sustained ability to prioritize work and make informed decisions;
  • Perfectly bilingual, orally and in writing (French and English).
