The TSX Listed Issuer Services is responsible for reviewing and approving new listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange as well as ongoing transactions including financings, M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations and stock based compensation matters. The group acts as the front-line interface between the TSX and TSX issuers in their corporate finance transactions. The group is also responsible for the administration and development of the Company Manual.

Role Summary:

Reporting to two Senior Managers, the Associate & Reporting Agent will perform a variety of tasks assisting in the processing of transactions undertaken by issuers listed on TSX and analyzing corporate information relating to the capital of TSX listed issuers.

Key Accountabilities:

•Maintain and update internal files, systems and databases

•Enter transaction details to generate invoices

•Draft and review correspondence, bulletins and other materials pertaining to ongoing transactions

•Collect and process Personal Information Forms in accordance with applicable policies

•Follow procedure to open/close files

•Maintain filing/vault and archive system

•Prepare expense report and make travel arrangements for the Senior Managers

•Provide administrative support to the Senior Managers

•Assist Senior Managers in preparation of workshops/meetings

•Update issuers’ monthly reports via electronic filing system

•Act as Administrator for our secure web-based filing system

•Communicate with listed issuers on their filing requirements and applicable TSX policies verbally and through written communication

•Ensure timely input of data in various databases

•Reconcile capital records with issuers

•Act as a back-up for other Associates or Reporting Agents during vacations and absences

Must Have(s):

•A minimum of three years of experience in a professional administrative role

•Excellent verbal and written communication in both French and English

•Excellent analytical and execution skills

•Ability to act independently and to exercise sound judgment

•Experience with client service

•Strong team player and self-starter

•Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other standard office software

•Strong keyboarding skills

•Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize time appropriately

•Exposure to securities industry or completion of the Canadian Securities Course or familiarity with stock exchange listing policies and requirements would be an asset.
