The Financial Resources Branch is seeking to fill a position of Administrative Technician - (Temporary Unionized Position) reporting to the Section Head - Collections and Technology Tools. In accordance with the laws, regulations and collective agreements governing the construction industry, the guidelines, methods and directives in force at the CCQ, the incumbent must carry out various technical and administrative work related to the development, implementation and maintenance of control of standards and administrative procedures to ensure the execution of projects or the smooth running of current operations.


  • Applying the Board's bankruptcy and insolvency remedies as well as the analysis of a high-complexity claim file;
  • Perform technical work of recovery, drafting of evidence and claim;
  • Analyze and solve problematic and special cases with the concerned stakeholders;
  • Communicate with contacts to obtain or provide technical information. Inform and / or advise internal or external clients regarding the policies and procedures in effect in their sector of activity;
  • Inform his / her superior of the problems that hinder the smooth running of his sector, identify the causes and make recommendations;
  • Collect, analyze, verify and prepare data, reports and statistics for their respective sector and maintain a variety of activity records.


  • Hold a DEC diploma (accounting or finance option).
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;


  • Good knowledge of financial accounting.
  • Experience with accounting software (eg Acomba, Avantage, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Ease with computer systems.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry (an asset)
  • Autonomy
  • Experience in implementing computer system (an asset)


  • Unionized position, hourly wage ranging between $ 24.12 and $ 34.39 according to the collective agreement. Full range of benefits
  • Work Schedule: One week of five (5) days followed by one week of four (4) days.
