We are currently looking for a Translator to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Translator you will be detail oriented and responsible for translating from English to French, and collaborating on various marketing projects. You will work in collaboration with the marketing department to oversee and execute the company’s marketing strategies across multiple media channels for campaigns that deliver on our brand promise. What You’ll Do:

• Translate press releases, promotions, hotel descriptions and other types of documents
• Approve material and proof communication pieces according to the company’s brand standards
• Work closely with the marketing department and other divisions in Toronto for various projects
• Other duties can be assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelors in translation or equivalent completed or in progress
• Bilingual (French, English, spoken and written)
• Excellent grammar skills
• Excellent organization skills and time management / sense of priorities
• Autonomous, motivated and meticulous
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent knowledge of linguistic tools related to translation and writing, including Antidote, translation memories, etc.
• Able to do term researches quickly in reliable sources
• knowledge of Social Media
• Fast paced, dynamic, highly productive department
• Continuous interaction with other departments, partners and service providers
• Peak periods may involve additional hours
• Ability to work independently and function well within a team environment
• Open-concept office with work stations
