In collaboration with the account managers, the technician is responsible for performing the various technical work in the life cycle of the post-approval activities and the follow-up of the files of the portfolio assigned to him.

Main responsibilities:

Be responsible for the life cycle after approval of financial aid files:

Enter the financial statements into the Financial Analysis Report System (RAF) and compare the actual financial statements of the companies against the forecasts presented. Prepare case tracking reports and provide comments on the audit period, compliance with commitments or other appropriate comments. In agreement with the account manager responsible for the file, prepare and write some changes to financial interventions.

Ensure the update of the corporate risk assessment and financial intervention using the Company's tools. Obtain any document or information that is relevant to financial aid files by contacting executives of companies, financial institutions, external auditors or others. Prepare and complete the recommendation and analysis scheme for immigrant investor files.

Be responsible for disbursements of loans or the implementation of loan guarantees:

Collect and verify the vouchers provided by the company or lender. Validate the information and ensure compliance with the conditions and that the prior commitments are respected. Complete the forms and proceed with the enforcement of loan guarantees and / or disbursements and ensure the preparation of appropriate certificates. If necessary, complete the change documents to make changes to loan disbursement or effectiveness of guarantees.

Get in touch with the companies, whose files have arrears. Provide support for collection tasks in accordance with the prescribed steps for his team's arrears cases and follow diligently the progress of these files. In collaboration with the Account Manager, respond to inquiries from customers for any questions concerning the administration of their file and occasionally respond to requests for information on the various programs of Investissement Québec (IQ) to ensure best customer service possible. Perform other related duties.

Specific qualifications required:

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies in Administrative Technique.
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years of experience relevant to the finance technician assignments.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis, standards and procedures in place at IQ and basic security.
  • Excellent command of the Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French
  • Functional knowledge of spoken and written English.
