Job Description and Qualifications:

All Corners Pest Control is looking for an experienced and qualified individual to work as Office Manager. This person will be expected to take a leadership role in the operation of the business and must work well with others. This individual is expected to maintain high-quality standards in all operations. They will also be expected to manage a dynamic, fast-paced, often hectic environment. Leadership, organization and the ability to work quickly and efficiently is paramount. 

Work will include:

  • Identify and document business problems and develop business cases to propose solution options;
  • Analyse and interpret client business needs by gathering and documenting user requirements;
  • Prepare reports and correspondence based on collected data, as needed;
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints while developing plans to mitigate and address any concerns;
  • Research software and hardware products; perform industry benchmarking;
  • Oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, accounting, project planning, and management processes;
  • Model, analyse, and revise business processes and procedures;
  • Drive implementation of technology and process solutions from concept to completion;
  • Establish work priorities, delegate work among office staff and ensure internal and external deadlines are met with satisfaction;
  • Align stakeholder business and system requirements to overall client objectives and strategy;
  • Develop strong understanding of the organization & structure, product/services mix and stay aware of client and industry news and provide profitable strategies consistent with their business needs;
  • Build collaborative working relationships across all levels of the organization and with external partners;
  • Work collaboratively with the Pest Control Team and Tree, Lawn Care team, Cleaning Services team and the Junk Removal team to develop effective best practice industry approaches and techniques;
  • Overseeing and coordinating office administrative processes and procedures, including reviewing and implementing new procedures;
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including monitoring equipment, supplies, maintenance services, etc.
  • Manage new hires, staffing and payroll;
  • Assist with the implementation of Ad campaigns utilizing a variety of platforms including print and digital advertising;
  • Maintain and update website, social media and LinkedIn profile.

Experience Requirements A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a management/leadership role in an office environment is required.

Education Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree or higher.

Other Qualifications:  A positive, results-oriented attitude, with a good work ethic; Excellent communication skills verbal and written (Fluent in English); Confidence in interacting with all staff members as well as external clients; Able to answer phones/emails to direct customer inquiries; Ability to follow detailed instructions to complete routine procedures; Time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills required; Strong interpersonal ability; Motivation (Self starter); Ability to work independently. Must also possess computer skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, Accounting Software (QuickBooks online an asset), and Gmail calendar scheduling. Applicants must also have a full G licence with a clean driver's abstract and the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
