Receptionist/AP Administrator

Our Owen Sound branch is looking for an experienced Receptionist/Accounts Payable Administer to join our team! In this role, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for community members contacting our local branch by telephone or directly by visiting our office. They will manage a multi-line telephone system to effectively and courteously direct calls to the appropriate stakeholders in the business.

Nature & Scope

  • Receive and effectively handle telephone calls and office visitors
  • Effective communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Accountable for the shipments of interoffice, regular mail and Purolator mail for the Owen Sound Branch
  • Pre-process employee expense reports using the factoring method for GST/HST/QST
  • Complete office filing, shipping and receiving
  • Complete bank deposits
  • Strive to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Process all documents with accuracy and efficiency
  • Other administrative tasks as required


  • 2+ years in Office Administration
  • Post Secondary Education in Business administration or a related field preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and effective time management skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Suites programs; extensive experience with Excel required
  • Experience with ERP systems and software considered an asset network
