Administrative Assistant – Ottawa, ON

CBI Health's Focus Assessments is a fast-paced Medical Assessment Services Company looking for a candidate who is a quick learner and highly organized, with excellent computer skills, to work as an Administrative Assistant.

The key functions of this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Receives Draft Reports by email and assigns Report Reviewer
  • Organizes Report Reviewer assignments through worklists
  • Issues Reports to Referral Source and updates Referral Management System (Smart Simple)
  • Status Check for all Assessment Reports from Assessors for timely submission
  • Provides Copy of Final Report to Assessor
  • Creates Documentation Listings as required

Competencies:

  • Medical office or related experience/knowledge of independent medical assessments an asset
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates ability to work in fast paced environment, with multiple ongoing tasks and strict timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Efficiency in computer skills (MS Office)

Position is permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Reports to the Operations Manager.
