About the role:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Mailroom, the Administrative Support Associate performs a variety of routine tasks related to receiving and sorting mail for distribution, as well as filing and scanning documents. The successful candidate will process agency orders and deliveries, operate mailroom equipment and systems, maintain and track inventory of product and marketing material, and perform a variety of administrative duties related to documentation and invoicing.

You are great at:

  • Completing all processes related to incoming mail and packages, and delivering to various internal departments
  • Completing all processes related to outgoing mail, and ensuring that foreign and domestic mail is sent according to established deadlines
  • Receiving and processing claims documentation within the required turnaround times
  • Maintaining postal office equipment and inventory of office supplies
  • Replying to internal email and reporting requests in a timely manner
  • Filing and storing documents for various departments

What it takes:

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and be a continuous learner, to grow within your role and with the team
  • Mailroom or administrative experience is preferred
