We are accepting applications for an exciting opportunity to be the face of Medavie Blue Cross! The successful candidate will represent Medavie Blue Cross by responding to customer and client inquiries face to face and by phone, helping Office Services with mail room duties and assisting Human Resources with administrative tasks.
Qualifications: Prior experience in an administrative support role in a professional environment; Strong customer service skills, excellent communication and problem solving. Ability to work with minimum supervision
Education: High School required; College or University considered an asset.
Computer Skills: MS-Office, Lotus Notes and Outlook software
Language Skills: Bilingualism is mandatory
Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of customer needs and various processes and procedures in own work area as well as a general understanding of processes in related work areas. Has a broad understanding of how Medavie Blue Cross works.
Communication Skills: Possess superior communication skills (oral, written, listening) and delivers information clearly and confidently. Demonstrates the ability to tailor information and delivery to suit the nature of the material, audience and situation
Customer Orientation: Builds rapport, constructive and effective relationships and spends extra effort to put others at ease. Can understand where our clients are coming from and place the appropriate level of urgency as required.
Execution and Organizational Skills: Prioritizes and effectively copes with change. Ability to organize work and information in a well thought out manner to deliver on specific tasks and reporting deadlines. Exhibits high levels of energy and perseverance in the pursuit of established goals.
