Your role:

As Administrative Officer for Radio-Canada Acadie in Moncton, you will report to the Manager, Infrastructure Support, Operations and Administration. You will provide managers on the leadership team with administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the various departments, as well as planning and decision-making.

Your key tasks in this role will include the following:

  • Coordinate and perform duties related to purchasing, billing, and the booking of travel, vehicle rentals and accommodations, in accordance with corporate policies; manage access cards and staff lists.
  • Initiate/negotiate, within established parameters, selected service contracts as part of providing administrative support to the departments in question; determine the terms and conditions to be met; and monitor progress to coordinate the fulfilment of payments and other obligations, according to established procedures.
  • Provide managers with advice on handling milestones, follow-ups and employee movements; and apply the appropriate solutions.
  • Perform all other tasks in support of operational administrative requirements.

We are looking for a candidate with the following: 

A) Qualifications 

  • Community college diploma or the equivalent.
  • Three (3) or more years' experience performing similar administrative duties.

B) Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French.
  • Advanced oral, writing and reading proficiency in English.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness essential.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Curious mind and ability to adapt to new IT tools (Asana).
  • Strong ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to be self-sufficient.
  • Research, analysis and synthesis skills.
  • Travel management experience an asset.
  • Initiative and high level of discretion when dealing with confidential material.
