Overview

The Office of the Chief Operating Officer oversees the day-to-day corporate operations, which support the investment activity of approximately $150B assets under management. The Office of the COO encourages strong relationships with clients and the financial community, ensures that we meet the Three-Year Business Plan objectives, the right business operations planning are adhered to, our systems and process are efficient, and enterprise risk is managed. The COO provides strategic leadership and vision and is responsible for business functions including;

  • Workplace Services
  • Internal Audit
  • Enterprise Project Management Office
  • Legal Affairs & General Counsel
  • Information Technology
  • Investment Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the COO, the Administrative Assistant performs a wide range of administrative functions in support of the efficient operation of the Office of the COO, adapting to frequent changes in priorities and deadlines within a confidential environment. The Administrative Assistant serves as backup to the Executive Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have:

  • 3+ years experience providing administrative support at executive level
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Adobe, SharePoint
  • Ability to work effectively in a close interdependent team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in reaction to changing priorities
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be diplomatic, tactful and use discretion
  • Ability to handle pressure situations
