OVERVIEW

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

On behalf of BCI's clients, the Infrastructure & Renewable Resources team invests globally in companies that offer exposure to infrastructure assets that provide stable long-term results with minimal substitution risk. These include investments in sectors such as water, electricity, gas, and transport infrastructure as well as tangible assets in the natural resources space such as timberland and agriculture. The team invests in a variety of capacities including as a sole sponsor, co-sponsor, or co-investor and very selectively through externally managed funds. In these capacities, the team seeks to take an active oversight role built on a foundation of trusted relationships with all stakeholders and a commitment to long-term value creation.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Manager, Portfolio Administration, and as part of the administration team, provides a wide range of administrative functions to effectively manage the growing Infrastructure & Renewable Resources portfolio. The Data Administrator performs a range of functions in support of the overall goals of the department, but is primarily responsible for the department's administrative functions. The Data Administrator responds to specific requests for assistance from all members of the Infrastructure & Renewable Resources team in support of overall department goals.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Must have:

  • 2 or more years of administrative experience in an office environment complemented by related education
  • Initiative to learn the Infrastructure and Renewable Resources industry, along with proficiency and confidence with dealing with co-workers and external parties in a collaborative, team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency with a broad range of computer applications, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • The ability to work with a diverse range of investment professionals in a well organized and productive manner

Preferred:

  • Experience with private investments
