Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing the content strategy to engage and expand our audience in the Canadian market, with a particular focus on the French-speaking regions. As a content specialist, you will manage the development, deployment and optimization of web-based content across websites, ensuring alignment with paid advertising and SEO/SEM-related objectives to generate awareness, traffic, and high-quality conversions to support our revenue and growth objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy for French-speaking regions and ensure alignment with the company's goals and market needs.
  • Create, edit, and proofread French and English content across various platforms, including blogs, social media, websites, and marketing materials, ensuring it resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both the company and its customers.
  • Measure, meet, and adjust KPIs based on web traffic and campaign performance to ensure engagement and conversion to branded sites.
  • Track analytics, including click-through rate,  conversation rates, and revenue per page, determining effective avenues for optimization
  • Conduct market research and utilize analytics tools to gauge content effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize strategy and increase engagement.
  • Execute all the stages of content production, from planning and writing to publishing.
  • Conduct competitor research to draw insights to improve and optimize our content strategy.
  • Carry out continuous on-page analysis and optimization, leveraging tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Stay updated with language and cultural trends within the Quebec market to ensure content is relevant and appealing.
  • Optimize SEO strategies designed to maximize performance across on-site and off-site publications, with regular performance monitoring using SEMRush, AHRefs, Search Console, and other relevant tools.
  • Provide translations and adaptations of content between English and Quebec French to maintain consistency and quality across all platforms.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or other related field.
  • Native French speaker who is proficient in Canadian French and has a good understanding of the Canadian French market.
  • 2+ years experience in content creation, marketing, and strategy, preferably in a bilingual setting.
  • 2+ years writing exceptional copy with strong editing skills and a proven track record of creating high-quality, conversion-optimized content that resonates with target audiences. 
  • An agile mindset with a passion for problem-solving, enabling you to strategically tackle challenging situations in a complex and dynamic business environment.
  • Superior communication skills that will enable you to lead the thinking of decision-makers internal and external to
